• Bone-Based Animation - Anime Studio's unique bone-based animation technology allows you to create a skeleton that can be manipulated to animate characters or objects in your animation. Add keyframes to your timeline and adjust your bone movements. The program will interpolate the motion between positions for you!
• Layered Animation - Switch Layers make it easier to work with a combination of connected movements that occur along a timeline. This is especially valuable for animating body movements or facial expressions, such as creating lip-synch animations, when each graphical layer can be a mouth shape for a different sound.
• Vector Animation - Using Anime Studio's vector-based graphics, you can to add points to a line and then adjust the line position as you change your timeline to create motion.
• Advanced Timeline Controls - Speed up or slow down the movement within a given action using Tweening. View the position of the objects in your scene at any point in the timeline with Onion Skins. Fine tune acceleration movements and other properties of motion using the Graph Mode to see an animation curve plotted as values on a graph. Use Actions to create reusable animations for movements that you expect to use over and over again.

Design your own characters and objects by drawing directly in Anime Studio using a mouse or pen tablet. Import your existing images, Photoshop and Illustrator files. Turn your canvas into a 3D stage with X, Y and Z coordinates, and import 3D OBJ files from 3D applications to use in your animations. Import your own video clips in MOV and AVI formats.

Create Amazing Special Effects
Use built-in special effects tools on your animations, or add your own effects with Anime Studio Pro's powerful scripting capabilities. Use particle layers to simulate water, smoke or a flurry of flying objects. Customize colors and fills for your objects and save your favorite Styles for later use. Use pattern brushes, line effects, and more to create glows, outlines and shadows to give your animations drama and depth.

Add a Soundtrack to Your Animation
Import a sound clip into your project and Anime Studio will automatically insert it into your timeline, where you can adjust the timing and length to fit your scene. Anime Studio supports WAV and AIFF formats.
